LAUNCH KACIXG. The particulars of the racing for the Streater clock on Saturday afternoon last are as follow.— Class B. — Entries and handicaps: Regal, scratch, Napier 3m. Ikatere 9m, Matareka iOm, Petrel 11m, AUeyue 11m, Gardiner 11m Standard 18m, Tempest 18m. Huia 20m 28s, Geisha 22m 30s. Tbe course .-was about 10 knots. Regal, Napier, Tempest, Matareka, and Huia started. Matareka was 4m late. Napier retired shortly after tbe start, owing to an accident to her machinery. :Thc finishing times were: Regal _h 35m ISs, Tempest 2h 36m 13s. Matareka 2h 39m Ss.
Class C. — Entries and handicaps: Kaka scratch, Lozier 11. scratch, Esnia 3m 30s, Neno 4m 495, Edna ova, Gracie »m 425, Roma 9m 525, Wonder 10m, Venture 13m 48s, Wairone 16m 20s. Course about 7 knots. Esina, Xeno. Edna, and Venture started. Tbe finishing times were: Esma 2b 4Sm Ss. > t cdo 2h 4Sm 18s, Edna 2h 51m 20s, Venture 2h 53m 225.
Class A. — Entries and handicaps: Toso scratch, Grey Witch 6m 575, Slim Jim Urn. Course: About 10 miles. Togo did not start. Slim Jim was cnt away at two oclock, followed by Grey Witch at 2h 6m o<s. Grey Witch passed the Slim Jim oSE Campbell Point, and finished at 2h 55m 425. Bum Jim finished at 2h 55m 535. ' „ Flna j-_~ * he flrst boats in each heat competed in the final. Esma was sent away at 3h 15m, R(>gai at 3h 34m 18s, and Grey Witch at 3h 57m 225.
