EOME, April 11.

A French squadron has been sent to Naples to assist in rescuing the sufferers and fugitives, numbering 12,000. There is great destitution among the people who have been driven from their homes. The King and Queen of Italy have contributed £4000 for the relief o"i the sufferers.

King Edward has sent a message to the King of Italy, expressing his deep sympathy with the sufferers.
