THE CABLE STEAMER. H.M.e.s. Iris returned from Australia, via Norfolk Island and Doubtless Bay, at 8 a.m. to-day. The Iris is expected to remain iv port at Auckland for a considerable time. THE WARSHIPS. U.M.s. Encounter left for Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington this morning. She will retarn to Auckland in about six we*.*fcs. H-IIA Prometheus will be docked about Wednesday next to have a new propeller fitted. She then leaves for Sydney. THE DELPHIC. The s.s. Delphic armed from West Coast af England ports at 7.30 a.m. to-day. The steamer left Liverpool on February 17, and experienced fine weather throughout the passage. Cape Brunnie (Tasmania) was passed on the 3rd inst and Cape Maria Van Diemen at 11 a.m. yesterday. The Delphic is still in command of Captain J. Breen. The other'deck officers are:—Chief, Mr -T. Hughes; first. Mr J. H. Calloway; second, Mr H. Larchim; third, Mr A. P. Nelson; fourth, Mr E. T. Thornton. Mr Sharpe is in charge of the engine department, with Mr Calderwood as second engineer, Mr Niehol. as third, and -Mr Evans as fourth. Mr " McDougall is in charge of the refrigerator, and Is assisted by Mr Stone. The Delphic will remain at Auckland for three or four days and then proceeds to Southern ports.- She will load cargo in the colony for London. j THE ZEALANDIA. I The s.s. Zealandia arrived from Sydney at 3.30 p.m. yesterday. She left Sydney lat 12.15 p.m. on Wednesday last, and exI perienced moderate southerly winds and heavy swell until rounding the North Cape, thence fine weather to arrival. After calling at Sydney the Indradevi comes on to Auckland, where she is expected to arrive about the 23rd inst. The barquentine Southern Cross -went to an anchorage in the stream this afternoon. She was to sail at 3 o'clock for Apia and Samoa.
