Mylne, of Glasgow, to design a challenger for the American Cup, . - 111. was the last of Sir tthomas Lipton's yachts to race for the iimerican Cup. She was designed by Mr. SV. Fife, and built by Messrs. Denny Brothers, Dumbarton, was built of steel ahuniniuni deck, and her construction was a triumph of shipbuilding skill bi'Tegaid to combined lightness and strength. In her trial races against Shamrock L she proved highly satisfac&ry,'wMle she was a fuller-bodied boat ffian Shamrock IL In the Cup race she iB3S easily beaten by Reliance, and gave pp three miles from the line. The Cup U-Oefore remains in America.!
