Westwood, late foreman of the engineering department, and for many years partner in the late firm of Messrs Dunn, Smith and Co., was presented with a handsome illuminated address. Mr A. Burt, jun., on behalf of this firm and employees, in a eulogistic speech, made the presentation, and referred to the many good qualities and popularity of the recipient, and the regret at losing the services of such an esteemed employee, and hoped that in his new undertaking he would be as successful as hitherto. Westwood, in a neat speech, expressed his thanks to the donors, and the proceedings closed -with three hearty cheers to each, Mr Burt and Mr Westwood.
