THAMES JOCKEY CLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING.^ The Thames Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting takes place at the Thames to-morrow. The club have arranged, for an excursion steamer from Auckland as well as trains from the Walkato and Upper Thames, and a large attendance should be present The acceptances received for the various events are first-class, and an interesting afternoon's sport will probably result. The following horses are suggested as likely to run forward in their respective engagements:— Maiden Plate —Aristocrat or Fortification.
