An incipient fire occurred in Harders buildings, Victoria-street, Camtcidge, shortly before noon to-day in a shop i occupied by Miss Gardner, dressmaker. A spirit lamp set fire to a basket of clothes. The outbreak was observed, I and the flames were extinguished before the building sustained any damage, thanks to the energy of the proprietor, his assistants, and of Mr Nixon, jeweller, next door.
