McGregor. 32; Henry Morey. 27; Jas. • Bidden, 16; Thomas Goagn, 14; A. Thori buru. 0. Father Bowen has taken charge of St. Francis Xavier's Chrnch during the absence of Father Smiers. At a committee meeting of the Wiangarei Rowing Clnb. it was stated that the recent aqnatic sports would result in a substantial balance. It was decided to hold trial focrs on February 22. Mr E. IK. Hinfler was appointed to replace Mir N. iC. Flett (wio is leaving for Auckland) on I the committee. Messrs R. Frodsham and VT. W. Benjamin were deputed to confer •wiTt tbe Mayor on the proposal to pro- | -ride new public swimming batis.
