KOMATA REEFS RETURN.

£2649 PROM 1150 TONS. The return from the Komata Reefs mine for the four weeks ending January 27 was '2649 from 1150 tons of ore. Appended are the returns to date:

ITORUNUI-CALEDONIAX ! A few pieces of stone from the Kuru-nui-Cakdonian mine were on view today at Mr. H. Gilfillan's office. They were brought to town by the manager, Mr. Paul. Some pieces <vere from the Cambria reef, at the point where dabs of gold were seen . The stone is really good looking quartz, carrying colours and dabs- of gold. Other pieces of stone are from the flat leader in the winze now being sunk to reach the Cure reef. These pieces of stone show seams of coarse gold going right through.
