CARRINGTON SMALL HOLDINGS SCHEME.
LONDON, Febrqary 6. ! Earl Carrington, President of the Board I of Agriculture, in a speech yesterday, said his system of small holdings had been successful, socially and financially. There, are, he says, 3000 such holdings on his j estates. [Lord Carrington's cheap cottage scheme, which of course is a purely private venture, was very favourably discussed last year.]
