AMUSEMENTS.
THE WESTMINSTER SINGERS. The Wesl-niaster Glee and Concert Party gave another of their delightful concerts last night in His Majesty's before the usual large audience, which encored practically every item. The Glee party sang Atterbury's "Came, Let Us All A-maying Go" (encore, "The Peasants' Wedding March), the anthems, -"Conifort, O Lord*" (Crotch), and "Bethlehem (Gounod), and Bucks vocal waltz. "O. Come and -loin Our Danoe;" the gentlemen sang a bunting song by S. Reay "King Witlafs Drinking Horn" (Hatton). with an encore. "One Dance;" and the boys contributed Sharpens "Lo, Smiling Spring," and for an encore Mr. Steindale Bennett's brilliant setting of "Nursery Ravines," in each case with characteristic- excellence. Master Mar-t----eam sang Smart's "Rose of May." and being warmly encored be sang "When the Heart is Young." With Master Travis be sang Smart's beautiful duet. "How Sighs the Gale of Morning," and for encore "Sunbeams." Madame M. Hoot on has probably sung nothing better this season than her exquisite rendering of Capel's -'Lorraine. Lorraine. Lorree" the encore wajs inevitable. Very good. also., was Hope Temples "Rosy Darling." which was also encored. Mr. Sterndale Bennett got a hearty recall for his singing of Balfe's sweet old melody. '•'The Arrow and the Song." and he gave the humorous "You Better Ask Me." Mr. P. Coward, the male alto, sang "Drink to Mc Only" beautifully, with a vocal from the gentlemen, nnd for the encore which was demanded he sang Allitsen's "Sing Mc to Sleep." Messrs. Coward, Branscombe Bauhof, and Bennett, and Master Travis sang Elliott's glee, "See What Pleasures" very welL Not the least, in- ; teresting section of the programme was . Mr. D. Canston's very humorous musical sketch. "Tlie Musical Village," which, of course, led to a recall. The company an extra matinee in the Y-M-CA.. Hall this afternoon, and closes its successful Auckland season by an extra concert in the same hall to-night. FULLER'S ENTERTAINERS. Fuller's Entertainers will present a new programme at the Opera House tonight. The artists include Miss Addie Frederick. "Queen of the Air," the Wynharns (sketch artists). Bob Lloyd (end. \m_TO. Charles Stanley (.male alto"), and lAjax. who makes his first appearance (as the human crocodile. I
