Victoria, having been delayed In the South by bad weather, Is not expected to reach Auckland before to-morrow night. The scow Southern Mc arrived from Gisborne yesterday In ballast. She Is loading rails for Gisborne, as is also the ketch Coronation. The barque Devonport has arrived at Naumai Mill from Wari-nambool, Victoria, and Is taking in a cargo of sawn kahikatea for the same port. The s.s. Kakaia wi'l leave Wellington on the 27th Inst, for Auckland, and wl.l be despatched from this port nnaKy for London on December 5. The barque Zelateur has now nearly completed the discharge of her cargo of produce from Lyttelton. She will load ballast from the barque J. T. North next week, and then sails for either Kaipara or Hokianga to load timber for Sydney. The vessel reported in the Gulf ves'erday is thought by the signalman to lie the lirlgantlne Carin, bound from Lvtte'ton to Auckland. The vessel passed out of sight yesterday afternoon, and has not sluce put lv an appearance. There was only one sidling vessel iv sight yesterday. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The Melanesian steamer Southern Cross arrived at Norfolk Island from the Northern Islands yesterday. Fine weather prevailed on the trip, and all the stations were visited.
