Mr Peed stated the plaintiffs —ere engaged by the defendant to fish far Mm exeluavely, and he agreed to take ail the fish they caught during the summer. He was also to lend them a boat at £1 a week. When they took over the boat they found it leaking and had to caulk it "before they could go out. They •.rent out, and were fishing for nearly three weeks, sending in their fish by the steamers. When they came back they found that after Smith had _____ numerous deductions they were entitled to £1 12/ for the three weeks* work, the deductions being made for allegedly bad fish, although they were taken over by defendant as under good order and condition.
