THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN HUTTON.

HOBART, this day.
With regard to the death of Captain F. W. Hutton, F.R.S., Curator of the Christchurch Museum, the scientist embarked on the s.s. Rimutaka in London a a bad state of health, died of pneumonia and exhaustion, and was buried at sea. Mrs. Hutton was on board at the time of the captain's death.
