The s.s. Marere, of thp Tyspr line, arrived from New York via Australian ports last evening, titer an uneventful weather pnKsage. The s.s. T-arawera arrived from Dunedin. via pom, at 10.30 a.m. to-day. She left Donedin on Friday last, and experienc-d fresh winds and smooth seas to arrival. The Tarawera sails for the South again on Saturday. Ccpt. G. Christian, of the French barque FJeur de Lis, which arrived yesterday, reports that the vessel left Lyttelton on November 9th, and liad a strong s X gale for the first two days out, thence fine weatlier to arrival. The S.S. Tutanefcai returned last nig-n* ' from her search in the Tasman Sen for the dismasted vessel sighted by the Iquique and which is now believed to be tne barque Helga, which has arrived at Aeweast'e dismasted. The Tutanekai leaves xo-morrow for the Northern Ugiathoaseß and the Kermadec Islands. The s.s Tntanekai sighted the barqnentine Pendlp Hill, bound from Talrua to Sydney, off the North Cape at 7-30 am. on Friday last.
