The coronpr. Mr. T. ' ; re*ba_>. held an inquiry tius S-onirj at r.ne *_rirer; in ' Hotel into the caise of death of i woman named Ellen L=wscn. who was t found dead Ln her ho-.se. Well"-- <—1- ; street, on Friday afternoon. D~ees=ei I was known as MoUer. bavirrt; - been twice married, Mr John r identified the body of deceased a- b?i~~ that of Ellen Lawson. whom he bad - known for 29 years, lie stated she rama • to the colony 40 years ago from Ire- - land, and was 5-3 years oi age. Dr. F. t King deposed that as the body wrs > rhzid when he was called in. he was unt able to certify to the cause of death. f Under the eireumsta sees, the coroner rr- ? dered a post mortem examination. Wit- " ness stated he found no marks of vio- * lence. and the various organs were quite E healthy, the body being well nourished - and clean. He. however, found an obe struc-tion in one of the valves, caused by some foreign matter, which was the - cause of death. The jury accordingly re- - turned a verdict that death was dae to t embolism of the heart.
