PETITIONS FOR INTERVENTION
LOSTOS, June 0. Tlie International Arbitration party of the French Chamber of Deputies and the I Commercial Committee of the British i House of Commons have sent petitions to ! their respective Governments, asking them at the first favourable opportunity to offer their good offices in the bringing about of peace between Russia and Japan.
