NEW ZEALAND RUGBY TEAM.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —On reading the names of the : players selected to form the New Zealand Rugby team for England, it was ; j with extreme disappointment and disj.gust I found that the selectors had. at ' the eleventh hour, excluded the Auck- : land threecpiarter Mackenzie. I am sirre I am voicing the opinion of a groat portion of the football-loving public, and also of a great number of players, not only in Auckland, but throughout New ; Zealand, when I state that his exclu--1 sion is a. grave injustice to a gTeat player, and a crying shame to the selection committee. We in Auckland last season saw the visiting teams of Otago, Taranaki, and Wellington, and by general consent Mackenzie was considered | equal to. if nnt superior to. any wing | three-quarLer in Xcw Zeaia.nd.—l am, j etc., ! FAXRPLAY. \
