Edge won the 100-kilometre motor-boat race at Monaco. A large deputation, representing all the amateur sporting bodies, waited upon the New South Wales Chief Secretary (Mr. Hogue) yesterday, and asked for litigation to suppress betting at sports meetings. The Minister promised the matter favourable consideration.
