Give Thanks." and "O Lord. I Thou Art My God." Mr W. Aspinxil's j clear tone tenor voice was beard to good t effect in Abrahams prayer for Sodom. i "'Have Pity. O Lord.'* A, nice rendering r~ I "I Will Praise Thee. 0 Lord" was gives by Madame Chambeis: and Mrs Lee aad Mr \ Asplnall were heard to good effect ia tie ' duet, "The Offering." while the quarter "The Sacrifices of the Lord Are a Broken i Spirit." by Madame Chambers. Mrs Lee, : anil Messrs W. Astley and W. AsphrsH. J was also a very acceptable number. Mr IW. J. Hookey acted as conductor. Herr ! Kreutzer lead the orchestra, and Mr A. : Walton presided at the organ. The proceeds of the entertainment will be devoted . to" the fund In aid of the organ watermotor. HELPING HAND MISSION. There was a good attendance of siembeia■sX the quarterly meeting of the Helping Hand Mission at the Mission Hull. Draifst., Fieeman's Bay, on Tuesday evenhsr I last. The chair was occupied, by the Rer. jB. F. RothwelL The various reports showed that the mission was in a healthy and ; prosperous condition.
