MUNICIPAL COAL DEPOT.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) WELLINGTON, this day. A municipal coal depot is a looming possibility at Petone. At the next meeting of the Borough Council consideration will be given to a proposal to make provision in the alterations now proceeding at the gasworks for sufficient storage of coal for the purpose of selling coal direct to the residents.
