THE BAKERS' CONFERENCE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDEs, this day. Mr McCarthy has resigned the secretaryship of the Bakers' Conference. It was resolved that subscriptions from unions should be the same as last year, but the Conference recommended the raising of snbscriptions to £25 each, for Auckland, Wellington, Christclmrefa, and Dunedin, and £5 from other unions. They also carried a resolution deprecating the undue cutting of rates. The next Conference was fixed at Wanganni in October, bat the executive were empowered to change the locale if necessary- The following were elected to the executive:. Mr Kellow. president; Mr I/auxenson, vice-president; Mr Churchill, treasurer; Messrs. Longdon and Denhardon, on the committee.
