Shares in this new Company sold to-' day at and 7d, owing to a telegraphed report from the manager that He had cut a reef at No. 2 level fully four feet in width and carrying rich sulphide ore. The Waimangu mine is situated at Whangamata. CQEOMA2SDEL PROPRIETARY. Negotiations in connection with the flotation of the Coromandel Freehold Proprietary mine on the London market were thought to have lapsed, but the legal manager, Mr H. Gilfillan, junr., yesterday received a cable from London reopening the question. The directors are therefore considering the matter with a view to flotation. The fact that the first move haa been made from London would seem to point to improvement in that market. WAIHI SOUTH. The borehole is down 80ft. The drill got through the boulder bed at about 75ft. l>: seems tbat It Is very thick Just at this place.
