YOUNG HORSES.

(To the Editor.) Siv, —I write this as a warning to others who do not know as much about horses as my3e]f, being a horseman a'l my life. The serious accident which oc(uneri in Symonds-street ou Friday last should be a warning of the danger of putting a young horse in single harness in town. A young horse should always be put in double harness beside a reliable horse, so as to have complete control of it, for if a young horse in single harness gets frightened you might as well try to control the wind as to attempt to stop it. It is best to break young horses in the country, as .it is \'erj dangerous to do so in town. —I am, etc., HY. HUNTER, SENK.
