AMUSEMENTS.

WILLIAMSON'S 810-TABLEAU. A new \programme was presented by Mr J. C. Williamson's Bio-Tableau at His Majesty's Theatre last night. The excellence of the opening programme served to keep up good houses, and last night's audience was also very large. Wonderfully fine spectacular effects were seen in many of the films, and nearly j all showed an amount of detail which [demonstrated the first-class nature of the instrument. War pictures were projected which roused the audience to enthusiasm, the successful Japanese being depicted bringing off an ambush and capturing a Russian camp. In connection with the recent Dogger Bank Outrage by the Baltic fleet, several fine films gave the audience a dear view of the damage to the trawlers, and some impressive scenes at the funeral of the victims. Japanese soldiers were shown going to the front, and the funeral of Standard-bearers of the Yalu at Tokio was the subject of a very clear picture. The remainder of the programme dealt with a wide variety of interesting subjects, including a wrestling contest between Hackenschmidt, the great Russian wrestler, and Tom Jenkins, the famous American athlete; the Gordon Bennett motor races; English naval pictures; a particularly nice series of views of London from the Thames, and a descriptive firm showing how the hoppicking industry is carried on in Kent. So clear were the pictures that the beauty of the festoons of hops lost very little in the reproduction. The excellent orchestra provided an enjoyable programme, and the admirable stage management added much to the realism of the representations. ' THE OPERA HOUSE. "My Sweetheart," the charming little muhieal play presented by Mr Fuller's Musical Comedy Company, drew an appreciative audience to the Opera House last night. The , last nights of this enjoyable production are announced. It will be reproduced to-night and tomorrow evening.
