The Macmillan-Brown Prize in the University of New Zealand has been awarded to Mr Guy H. Schofield, of Victoria College, Wellington. Mr Schofield is a member of the literary staff of the "New Zealand Times." Mr. John Brown has offered himself as a candidate for election to the Auckland i Harbour Board. '
