NEW UNDER-SECRETARY.
LONDON, January 19. The Marquis of Bath has been appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretory for India, in succession to the late Earl of Hardwicke.
[The Marquis of Bath has sat in both Houses. As Viscount AVeymouth he represented the Froms Division of Somerset from 18S0 to 1892, and again from 1595----1596. He is ia his 43rd year.]
