Another telegram stated that a disturnance was appearing in the face. in response to a telegram asking for further information, the manager wired: "App-arance of disturbance coming in on hangingwal! in face of drive. Strongold left i 0 bottom of drive." MAY QUEEN EXTENDED. i The manager or" the May Queen Extended telegraphed yesterday that he (bad obtained lllbss. of specimens from leading stope.-. The weekly report Jof the manager states that the reef in ithe No. :5 level is ISin. wide, showing strong colours of cold. The leading stop- has been extended 12ft.. the reef averaging !ft- to 4ft. in thickness. Some very rich stone from the May Queen Extended mine brought up from the Thames last evening is now on view lat the office of the legal manager.
