A SERIOUS FALL.
MAJTS SPINE FRACTITRED. While being driven along the Great North-road at Kngsland by his son on Saturday, a man named Prank White had a very serious accident. He was sitting in the spring cart, which his young son. a lad about ten years of age, was driving, when a sudden jolt of the vehicle upset his balance, and threw him out on to the road- Unfortunately, he fell on his head in surh a position that he wrenched his spine badly, and he lost consciousness immediately. The boy stopped the cart at once, and went to the assistance of his father, and with the help of other people had him removed to an adjacent house. There Dr. Porter attended him, and ordered his removal to the hospital. An examination of White at the institution revealed the fact that his spine had been badly fractured below the neck, and his condition was very grave when he was admitted- He is doing as well as can be expected, and an operation will be performed on him in a few days after he has had time to recover from the effects of the severe shock he sustained.
