She left Sydney on Wednesday at 1.30 p.m., and experienced moderate winds with fine cloudy weather until reaching the North Cnpe, when the wind freshened and continued until arrival. The Zealandla continues her voyage for Danedin via ports at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The s.s. Westralla sails at 5.30 o'clock this evening for Sydney, with the following passengers: —Misses k.ilngton, A. Several steamers have recently been sold at Sydney to New Zealand for the coastal trade there, including the Nambncca and Defender (says an Australian exchange). Now the Baden Powell has also been purchased for service on the New Zealand coast. The Baden Powell has been running on the New South Wales coast for some time past, trading to the Nambucca River. The vessel is expected te leave Sydney early this week, and slight alterations are being effected to make her more adapted for the new owners' requirements. The Baden Powell is a wooden vessel of 194 tons gross and 92 tons net. She was built at the Nambucca River iv 1900, and was owned by Mr Francis Buckle, sen.
