A man named Arthur Brewer has been arrested in Sydney on a charge of stealing and cashing a cheque of the value of £30, the property of Messrs Fitzpatrtick and Co., of Ngaruawabia, with whom the accused was once employed. Brewer has been remanded for trial at Auckland, and a constable leaves by tonight's boat for Sydnuey to bring him over.
