PAPAK.URA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. The annual meeting of the Papakura Presbyterian congregation was held on the 25th August, the Key. T. Norrie presidiug. Krom the treasurer's report it appeared that the following sums had been received during the year lUo3:—Bustentation fund, £43 14/B*, against £i 5» 7/2 of the previous year: special collections for missions, etc., £3; building and cemetery funds, £12 9/4: total, £5'J 4/OJ. The report was adopted, and thanks cordially voted to Miss McEwen as organist, the choir, and the outgoing committee. The following were elected the committee for the current year:— Messrs Brodie, \V. Richardson, J. Black, T. Gerrard, A. Steele, and IS. D. McLenuau (secretary and treasurer). The general secretary's 4Sth annual report was submitted for tlio year 1903, which gave a summary of church work, and showed that the general treasurer's receipts for the year had totalled £'Jos 17/OJ. There was especially a gratifying increase on the sustentation fund, by which a debt on the fund, which amounted years ago to of £236 18/ti, had been entirely wlpeu off, and a balance was over. The report of the committee recommended that the congregations should aim at raising the small sum additional, which would raise the stipend of the minister to the minimum sum of £200 per annum, in accordance with the recommendation of the Presbytery, when a reduction was made from £250 to £150. The report was unanimously adopted on the motion of Mr J. B. Youug, who expressed his congratulations on the successful state of the charge. The following were elected the office-bearers for the current year:— Messrs A. Steele, general secretary, and E. D. McLennan, general treasurer, and Messrs T. Gerrard and J. S. Wilson, general auditors. EDENDALE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. The congregation of this newly formed charge, which for the last 15 years had been a mission station in connection with St. David's Church, held its annual meeting at the end of the financial year, and w:is presided over by the minister, Rev. .7. Praser, and hie induction as its first minister, the formation of its first session, and'the enrolment of its first membership, consisting of 88 transferred from St. David's, and 10 others making a total of 48 names on the roll.
