FRUIT AiND PRODUCE MARKETS. The local fruit and produce markets genially have been fairly brisk during the )ast week. In dairy produce, supplies ol iresh butter were under requirements, but values were unchanged. Kggs did not show any marked increase in supply, and were in good demand at last week's rates, .heese showed no improvement. Bacon md hams were lv full supply to a bettor demand, at about last week's values. Vegetables of all kinds were more plentiful, and prices were lower. Poultry was penned in fair numbers, and the high prices were still maintained. I'oung pigs showed no change In value. The lollowlng were the ruling prices at the auction sales yesterday.— Field Produce.—Potatoes: Local, nominal, £1 10/ to £2 10/ ton; Southern and Canterbury, table, £2 15/; seed kinds, i-l 10/ to £5; 'new kidneys, l.d to l.d lb; knmaras, 6/ to 7/ cwt. onions, Victorian. 6/ to 7/.
