One of the bi.e military feats of the Japanese was the lundis? on the Liaotung Peninsula. O\rinjr to tbp boat? not being able to approach within 1500 yards of fcbe shore the troops had to pluncre into the water and wade to land. They did this in spite of the bitter weather without the. least hesitation, and reached the shore without a single casualty.
