IN BANKRUPTCY.
A meeting of creditors in the estate of Edward sSwann, storekeeper, of Raglan, was held at the office of the Official Assignee this afternoon, Mr E. Gerard presiding. The bankrupt in a statement which he presented to the Assignee said that his total debts amounted to £502 13/1, and his assets were £ 142, including book debts estimated to produce £50, proceeds from the sale of the lease of a property at Devonport £35, and property still in his possession valued at £50. There was a deficiency of £360 13/1. The unsecured creditors totalled 44, the principal Deing Messrs Bycrofr and Co. £38 3/10, the Northern Rolle; Milling Co. £38 4/6, Messrs. A. H, Nathan and Co. £204 16/10, and Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co. £.5& 12/7.
