Her assailant enterd her house at a late hour by the door, which had been left open for the woman _ husband, who is employed on the night shift at the freezing works. The intruder, it is alleged, entered Mrs. Beck's room, and, on being orderrd off the premises, struck her a savage blow on the face. The woman fell heavily to the floor, and broke her arm. The man then made off. The police are now scouring the country for him.
