WAIHI RUGBY UN'IOX. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. The annual meeting of the Waihi Rugby Cnion was held last evening, Mr W. Coibett presiding There was a large attendance The report and balance sheet were read and adopted, and the credit balance In the bank was reported to be £t>9 x_/y. The following officers were elected for die ensuing season:—Patron, Mr M. McLean; vice-patron. Rev. Father Brodie: president, , Mr J Kelly; vice-presidents. Messrs G. Johnston, M. G. Power. A. Gooch. S. Meyer, W. H. Phillips. R. McWhirter: treasurer, Mr D. Saunders; auditors, Messrs McConuochie and T. Palmer; man- . agement committee. Messrs C. Cornthwaite, T. Eltringham. J. Nolan, T. Sheen, A. McWhirter, G. R. Scott, and M. Bolger. Mr D. Simpson was elected secretary in" place of Mr D. G. Saunders, who did not . seek re-election. A vote of thanks to the i outgoing officers, committee and chairman concluded the meeting > : CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB. ' The annual meeting of the above was held ot the Sugar Works on Thursday, I4th April, when the secretary read the report ; and balance-sheet, which was of a satisfactory nature. The following officers were elected foi the ensuing season:—President, Mr E. V. Miller; vice-president, Mr C. G. R. Gore: captain, Mr Thos. Francis; vicecaptain, L. Vincent; secretary and treasurer. Mr B. Williams; committee, Messrs A. McLeau, Francis, Vincent, R. Webb,, and Williams.
