HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. ' "Honour Thy Father," as produced at His Majesty's Theatre by the jAnderson , Dramatic Company, is attracting large and appreciative audiences nightly, and last night was no exception to the rule. The piece will be produced three more nights only, giving' place on Saturday evening to "The 10.30 Down Express," a play that is said to be full of thrilling and dramatic incident. OPERA HOUSE. . . The last performance at the Opera House by the Dampier Dramatic Company of the play, "The Growing of the- , Rata," was given last night before a " good attendance. "The Bush King" will be presented to-night. On Thursday and Friday evenings "The Green Lanes of • England" will hold the boards. The company's present season concludes on Friday evening. GEO. ABBOTT'S MUSICAL COMEDY COMEDY. / . Judging from the demand made for seats for Geo. Abbott's eausical comedy season, which commences at the Opera House on Saturday evening next, a brilliant opening should greet the company. "In Town," the initial production, sets the fashion of light musical comedy, it combines the piquancy, of French vaudeville, with a story and satire' of an English comedy, while possessing all the qualities of popular opera. The company, which will interpret the cast is said to be an exceedingly strong one, while the choral work and orchestral portion of the comedy . will prove a special feature. Many novel and gorgeous ballets are promised by a specially-engaged corps de ballet' * under the lead of Miss Alice Mitchell, , The plan for "In Town" is on view at Wildman; Lyell and Airey's, where seats may be booked without any extra fee.
