THE DIS.ABLED SCOW. GISBORNE, April 20. The steamer Nautilus, with the disabled scow Hoauga in tow, arrived this morning. Captain k letcher, of the Hoanga, reports that hrs vessel was dismasted at four p.m. iast \> edueauay, whAi sue was averting a speed of about se-Ven knots in a heavy west south-west breeze. There was no warning of the accident to tne foremast, wnich went suddenly, carrying with it the upper portion of Ure mainmast. A heavy sea then came up and the vessel drifted 22 miles during the subsequently making Hick's Bay with all her spars broken. Mr. Harrison, who arrives from Auckland to-day, will make arrangements for the vessel to proceed to the Northern port for repairs.
