Co., Ltd., of Kaipara. for the Dargaville and Northern Wairoa trade. This vessel is practically a sister ship to the well known and successful funnel steamer Aotea, built for the company a few years ago, and designed by Mr W. Reakes, naval architect of Sydney. Mr J. Stewart, the manager, has great faith In this class of steamer, and his opinion is supported vigorously by Mr Milne, who claims that the Aotea is the most efficient and economic steamer of her class in the Southern Hemisphere. She is 20ft longer than the Aotea, and more elaborately fitted up. The ladles' cabin will be extremely nice. The steamer is costing from __ \_ thousand pounds.
