(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DIDTEDIN, this day. John Beattie, Isaac Parfitt, and James Beattie, were charged at Naseby with alarming Ah Tong by the discharge of firearms, and were committed for trial at the District Court, Naseby. on March 22. Great interest was taken in the proceedings, which laster till 10.30 p.m. John Beattie is a returned trooper, who held a good position in the Intelligence Department.
