Ivan Sjubauovie, travelling from Pittsburg to Carlsbad, arrived at London aboard the steamer Majestic at Liverpool, and was charged with concealing lSlbs of dynamite and 360 detonators in a false bottom of a trunk. He declared that he was a miner returning to Bohemia, and intended u> explode rocks to improve his father's land. The Senate has granted the concessions demanded by M. Deleasse, the French Foreign Minister, at the instigation of the French Colonial Party.
