ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AT DEVONPORT.
*' ACCUSED IN COURT. » John McKay pleaded guilty in the Po-' ' 3 lice Court to-day before Mr." H.W. Brabant, SJM., to attempting suicide by eutt ting his throat at Devonport on January ;- 7th. c Dr. Bennett, house surgeon at the hospitalj, stated that McKay had been dae charged that morning. When admitted r he had a severe wound in the throat, c and was in a very serious condition,' r. owing to loss of blood.
