AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Auckland Lawn Tennis Championships were continued at thir Eden and Epsom lawn on Saturday afternoon. Championship Singles.—VV. A. Brown j (West End) beat A. S. C. Brown (Eden and I E-psom), I—6. 6—3, I—o, 6—3, G — i. The ! match was a steady one, both players play- ', ing , a similar g-ame. i Championship Doubles (Men's). —Brown i and Patterson (West End) beat Grossman and Ruddock (Eden and Epsom;, 6— '2. C —3, I—G, G— i. This was an easy win. Brown and Bamford (Eden and Epsom) beat Kee.sing and Jackson (A-ackland). 6— i. 6 —l, C—S, o—2.0 —2. The play was very even. Combined Championship Doubles. —Miss Udy and Billing beat Miss Nicholson and Paterson. G—o, 6—3; Miss P. Gorrie and I Ruddock beat Miss Rice and Turner 7 —5, ' S—4. I ■
