They intende to travel further northwards as far as Whangarei, on railway business. Mr Bragato, Government Yiticutturist, returned yesterday from his visit to Whangarei. Kaipara. and other vinegrowing districts in the North, and then paid a flying visit to Wairangi, returning again to Auckland this morning. He returns to Wairangi to-morrow. Mr E. D. Truoin, hon. treasurer of the Corinthian Yacht Club, London, lias been on a visit to Auckland, and yesterday went to Sydney by the Sonoma. A very pretty wedding which cansed a great deal of interest was solemnised at St. Paul's Church. This was the marriage of Miss Aetheberta M. Edwards, daughter of Mr Justice ISdwards. •to Mr Charles Loney, of Sydney. The marriage was soleminized by the Primate of New Zealand, assisted by Canon Nelson. The bride was attended by her sister, and her brother was the ol.degroom's best man. A fuller report has been prepared for the "Graphic," no further description bein gpossible in this column than that the wedding was very pretty and very sltylish. Robert James Fergus, farmer. of Kumeu, filed a petition in bankruptcy to-day.
