Br the death of Mr F. White, a resident of the ArmidaJe district, the Melanosian Mission receives a bequest of €500. Various substantial sums have been left to other organisations of ihe Church of England.
The Council of Amalgamated Engineers has invited its branches to influence members of Parliament to prpveni the Imperial Government sanctioning the Transvaal importation of Chinese.
