H.M.s. Clio, which has been commissioned for the Australian station, has left for Australia. Colonel Coddington, of the Imperii*. Army, arrived in Auckland yesterday from Sydney, and goes to the Hot Lake* for a holiday. Mr Michael Plurscheins. the well known economist, is at present in Auckland. Mr Elurscheitn is said to have decided to remain in New Zealand 101 several years. An address is to be publicly presente: to Mr I. 13. Hobart, the retiring agem for the Bank of New Zealand at Whan garei, before he goes South.
