MATCH 'AGAINST NEW SOUTH WALES. A DECISIVE VICTORY FOR THE VISITORS. (By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright.) SYDNEY, November 23. The weather at the resumed match between the English eleven and New South Wales to-day was fine, but very warm. The attendance was limitedHickson and Noble resumed New South Wales' second innings, the attack being opened by Bosanquet and Arnold. liiekson, by some pretty strokes, was soon in double figures, and Noble followed suit in a ii'W overs- the board showing 148. Jjraund was tried for the first time during the match in place of Arnold, while Hirst relieved Bo«anquet. The change had the desired effect, Hirst clean bowling Noble: seven for 1.V2. Hopkins followed. Hickson treated Braund's . leg breaks with considerable respect. For a long period play was slow, but Hickson, by sound cricket, gradually raised his score to .'SO, when h-e lifted one to the boundary, where. Warner brought oil' an easy catch: eight for 104. Kelly followed, but scoring was still slow. Hirst was here no-balled twice. Arnold then took the ball from Braimtl. At 185 Hirst gave way to Übs.anquet, and vnn-i came more freely . with the change, but just as the luncheon adjournment was about to be taken Kelly got leg before to Bosunquftt: nine for 107. When MpBetb. last, man, went in after lunch 14 runs were still wanted to save a one innings defeat. Branml relieved Arnold, and ftfler four runs had been added Hopkins went out to Braumlaud Lilley stumped him. the innings closing for 201, England winning by an inninn , and 10 runs.
