George Foden, Auckland, 12 years' service in the 70th Regiment, Indian Mutiny and New Zealand medals. John Heron, Marton, 12 years' service in the 86th and 51st Regiments, Indian Mutiny and New Zealand medals.

The old question of the disposal of Admiralty House was revived at the meeting of the Harbour Board . this afternoon by a letter from the Undersecretary for Public Works, in which it was stated that the Department cotuld not see its way to advise the Government to consent to the course suggested by the Board. No reason was given for this course in the letter, and consequently the Works and Tariff Committee were instructed to consider the matter and report to ih& Board.
