THE IRON INDUSTRY.
PROPOSED BONUSES.

MELBOURNE, this day.
It is understood that the Bonus Commission, on the casting vote of Mr Kingston, approved of the paying of a bonus to develop the iron industry. Mr Watson, the Labour leader, and other members presented a minority report urging that 10 to 15 per cent, duty would suffice to establish the industry.
